We offer a wide range of flat dies for popular pellet mills. Common diameters of flat dies for small pellet mills are 200, 230, 260, 300mm. Other available diameters: 250, 335, 345mm. For large pellet mills used in industrial applications, we offer flat dies with following diameters: 500, 650, 850, 1000mm.
Upon request, we can manufacture custom flat dies with non-standard diameter.
Please note that the pellet size is little larger than the diameter of the die holes, because after leaving the holes, pellet is slightly decompressed.
Default thickness of our flat dies is 32mm. Considering our clients requirements and diversity of pelleting process technology, our offer also includes flat dies with other thicknesses.
One of the most important factors, affecting the quality of pellet is the type of countersink. It's angle and depth can differ depending on pelleted material, and should be properly chosen for best pellet quality.
